The current leader of the Formula One Championship is selling his 2008 Bugatti Veyron for £900,000.The car is described as being in stunning condition "complete with all the usual refinements for a £1,000,000 supercar."

The website said: "It’s not often one of the world’s best cars owned by one of the world’s best drivers comes onto the market."

It seems that Button did not use the car very much since it only has 1,500 miles on the clock.

Brawn GP Formula One driver Jenson Button of Britain celebrates after winning the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in Monte Carlo May 24, 2009.

Jenson Button celebrates winning the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year. This is not surprising since he has a garage full of motors powerful enough to burn the asphalt- including his current favourite, a Mercedes C63 AMG.

The rest of his collection includes a Mercedes CLK DTM AMG, a Ferrari Enzo, an Audi RS6 Avant and a BMW M5.The Bugatti Veyron is not for the faint hearted. The supercar can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed is 253mph - this is 33mph faster than Button's car for his F1 Brawn GP team.

Button's black beauty is not the most expensive car on the Auto Trader website. That honour goes to a 1996 McLaren M6, which has a listing price of £1.4m.But the driver, who is currently taking a break in St Tropez, might have other things on his mind. The Valencia Grand Prix takes place a week from Sunday.
